We believe that our natural, hand-made creams are better for you than products mass-produced by major pharmaceutical companies.  Creams that are freshly made, with ingredients taken from nature, are gentler on the skin and on the environment.  No animals have suffered in the production of our creams. When you purchase and use our creams no multi-national companies are making vast profits out of you.  You are actually doing something positive for yourself and for the environment. We create hardly any waste at all and aim to keep our carbon footprint as low as possible. We believe that it would be a good idea if more people considered what they are buying into when they buy their skin creams. We believe that maybe it is time for more people to adopt higher principles, time for more people to turn over a new leaf….

Lesley King  learned the cream-making process when she started to work at Helios Homeopathic Pharmacy in 1990.  She is a registered homeopath (see www.homeopathy-hastings.net ) and has often made up creams for patients.  Her career in the natural health field began in 1974. She studied a wide variety of alternative health subjects before training as a homeopath in 1988.  She has recently been persuaded to increase her range of creams and make them more widely available.

Polly Palmer studied performing arts at Eastbourne College, where she learned the importance of looking good!  She has since travelled widely throughout Asia where she was inspired by the indigenous people's use of natural remedies for skin and health care.  Having struggled with skin problems herself she started to use chemical-free products and since co-developing NEW LEAF creams her skin hasn't looked back!
